How Long Should You Grieve?

Posted By James on February 24, 2010

How long should you grieve? That is a somewhat difficult question, but the short answer is until we die.
But wait, I am not talking about crying your eyes out everyday from now on. I am saying you will have times in your life from now until you die when something will trigger the memories of your loss. It may cause you some emotional pain for a few moments, but will quickly pass.
If you are crying or in deep depression daily for more than 6 months, you need help. In fact your grief reactions should get better after a month or two, and gradually get to the point where only occasionally will you have an emotional upset from you loss.
I know some people have a lot more trouble getting over a loss than this, but if you are having daily emotional pains, depression, guilt feelings, crying, or any other negative feelings or emotions from a loss after 2 or 3 months, then you need to keep watching this site as I will have more information on using Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) to overcome the pain and depression of grief and loss. I am writing a book and producing a companion DVD that will teach you all these techniques for specific problems of grief. You will be able to overcome your grief and help your friends and family.
I will also be posting videos and articles on this site to help you learn how to do these techniques.
If you haven’t already checked out my video page, you should check as I have a couple of videos from Robert Smith who is one of my teachers.
Please keep up with the site so I can help you overcome the pain of your grief.
God Bless you!

FREE GRIEF COUNSELING

Posted By James on February 9, 2010

As I stated in my last post, I am offering free grief counseling using Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT).

This is research for a new book I am writing and a companion DVD.

EFT is a wonderful therapy. It is not medical nor is it psychotherapy. But rather a tapping on a few acupressure points, while saying some affirmations that are relevant to your emotional pain. It usually only takes a few minutes, has no side effects and works almost 100% of the time. It will not cause you to lose any memories of your loved one but will in fact enhance your memories and make them pain free. You will be able to enjoy thinking about your loved one again.

It also works for any loss, not just death, but divorce, a move, empty house pains, etc.

I will be accepting clients for a limited time so I can better understand the process of finding and releasing the emotional pain for each one personally. This will help me to be able to explain better in my book how each person can find the right affirmations for their own personal emotional problems.

If you are interested in this free grief counseling, please email me at griefrecoverythatworks@gmail.com

I will answer your email as soon as possible and set up a time for a telephone consultation so we can address your emotional pain.

Thank everyone in advance for your help in my research.

Emotional Freedom Techniques can help you relieve the emotional pain of grief!

Posted By James on February 9, 2010

After studying Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) for several years now, I am finally ready to help those suffering from grief. There are many support groups, and therapist who work to help those suffering from the pain of grief, but the pain still persists. By using EFT it is possible to remove the emotional pain of your grief and change your life in a very short time. You will always remember your loved one(s), but you can remove the hurt so you no longer suffer the painful thoughts and emotions caused by your grief.

Since each person has their own special grief emotions, there is not a one size fits all in EFT. The Technique of tapping is the same for everyone, with some minor differences, but the emotions have to be addressed directly, according to each person’s situation.

It is my goal to write a book and make a DVD that will show the techniques of EFT, and also will teach each person how to address their emotions on a personal basis. For now I am working on doing research by helping people overcome their grief so I can understand better how I need to address the different emotions.

For now, I am willing to work with a few people on a one to one basis via email or over the phone to help you overcome the hurtful emotions of your grief.

If you would like to help me and at the same time heal your hurts please email me at griefrecoverythatworks@gmail.com

I will only be offering free counseling until I get enough information to finish my book, so please drop me an email soon so I can be of help to you.
